MAKING A SPANISH POLYCHROME SCULPTURE

                  

At first,  i want to tell you the reason why i chose this video. This video gives information about the process of making a Spanish polychrome sculpture.This process is expressed in the video clearly. In addition to this, title of  what he does is given in written form. The man talking about in the video mentions the elements used for making sculpture. He says that harder materials are put inside part of the sculpture so that it can be stronger. Later, materials made of polychrome are joined together to compose the body of the sculpture. Next, some parts including hands, arms, shape out a hand. The hand shaped out in the video looks really nice. It is just like its real one. Making it must be very difficult. It is open that it is made by a proffessional person. A lot of materials are used for making the hand of sculpture. After shaping the hand, he informs us about the preparation of skin of the sculpture. He means ‘clothes’ by saying ‘skin’. He says that he uses not only three dimensional but also two dimensional decoration. They both go together , hand in hand. They cannot be distinguished. He usses different materials to carry out this purpose. These materials include glue, dye, brash, sand paper, egg, etc. The decoration of the sculpture in the video is really good. Everything is well-designed. It must be really difficult to achieve making a sculpture considering the steps mentioned in the video. It is really good if my journal is helpful in terms of  informing you about these steps :D
